In honor and memory of Elizabeth and her dedication to OLGC, we are pleased to announce this year’s Aviat Award Recipients: Wendy Kehoe, Gemma Pearson, and Julie Rubio.
Keeping our school safe
This award is made in honor of Elizabeth White, OLGC Graduate and former OLGC 2nd grade teacher, who is remembered for her vivacious laugh and infectious smile. Even more, she is honored by those who follow in the example she set through her daily actions. Described as the embodiment of faith, hope, and perseverance, Elizabeth followed in the example of St. Leonie Aviat in her dedication to education and spirit of service. She truly embodied the Salesian call to “be who you are and be that perfectly well."
The Wildcat Fund sponsored the new Two-Way Radio Communication Program that fully connects School and Parish Leadership, Teachers, and Staff across our multiple campus buildings.
On Wednesday, November 28th after the 8:30am Mass we announced the winners of the 2018 Aviat Award as Mrs. Yvette Luketic, Middle School Science; Ms. Stephanie Gonzales, Middle School Literature; Mrs. Ashley Richardson, First Grade.
Congratulations to Samantha Forbes, Maria Vivanco and Anthony Zambito for being this year's recipients and being a shining example to our community.
The winners of our first Aviat Awards in memory of Elizabeth White were announced this week. The Aviat Award was established to recognize our faculty who, like Elizabeth, exhibit a commitment to service and Catholic education. This year, we are pleased to recognize Mrs. Etter, Mrs. Kehoe, and Mrs. Williams!
