A monthly series of Zoom wellness conversations to help us learn effective coping skills. In what feels like an eternity, life has dramatically shifted for each of us. Lifestyle changes, connections with those around us, and everyday joys have been altered and we are experiencing a new norm. Successfully navigating this historic event will depend on a great part of how we manage our days. Minding our personal wellness and managing our stress will help us in the long run. Organized by the Women of OLGC. 

On Thurs. January 21st 7- 8pm via Zoom, Freddi Donner, a seasoned executive coach specializing in the power of communication and interpersonal skills to achieve personal and professional growth will be our speaker for a one-hour discussion to help you design how to choose your choices, and stay strong in the New Year.

How will you choose to live in 2021? Although we are surrounded by news of what exists here on earth, we are also given the choice to focus on our eternal life. And that can be challenging when the “noise” of what is here on earth is so loud. Coping with our earthly life starts by making a choice – something that you do have access to. And this takes discipline and practice.

Dr. Monique Reynolds is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed a fellowship in school-based mental health treatment and assessment with the University of Maryland Center for School Mental Health. Dr. Reynolds specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing anxiety and related disorders. She has extensive training in evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, Parent Management Training, and Social Skills Training. Her clinical interests include anxiety-based school refusal, pediatric and adult OCD, generalized anxiety disorder, and social anxiety.
