PTO - Parent Teacher Organization
At OLGC, there are numerous opportunities to volunteer your time and energy. We encourage you to make the PTO an effective organization by attending our general meetings, sharing your concerns and ideas, and supporting our fundraisers and other activities. Our PTO brings together the students, parents, teachers, and staff with the single goal of helping to improve the educational opportunities of each child.

PTO Essay Contest for 8th Graders!
Each year, the PTO is thrilled to sponsor our annual essay contest for graduating 8th grade students who are continuing their education at a Catholic high school. The winner receives a $1,000 scholarship, paid directly to their Catholic school.
All 8th graders are informed of this opportunity in their classes, where guidelines, an application, and the essay topic are distributed.
The submission deadline for all essays is usually in April. 8th Grade students and parents should look out for details in the PTO Chatter message in the Wildcat Weekly beginning in March!
"Volunteering at OLGC School and Church is always humbling. It shows me how Christ lives among us in the hard work of the teachers, priests, and staff at OLGC. They put forth so much effort and time for our children's academic and spiritual development. These people give all they have for our families. The little bit of volunteer work that I do is merely a fraction of their commitment."
