Wildcat Weekly 3/14/19

Well March seems to be moving on quite quickly as we are almost half way through the month already. The entire staff of the church and school had a wonderful opportunity on Monday to join in an all staff retreat together. What a wonderful way to continue on the Lenten journey together and grow as one entity of OLGC. In the afternoon we were able to also continue our safety and security training with the entire staff to make sure we are keeping our children as safe as possible in these challenging times.

Please join me in welcoming Ms. Gillian Itchon as a student teacher serving in Mrs. Francese's 2nd grade classroom for a few weeks. She is currently studying Elementary Education at Marymount University and just finished serving as a 5th grade teacher at St. Agnes School. We are thrilled to have her helping in our 2nd grade classroom to gain experience and prepare to serve as an Elementary teacher. If you see her around please feel free to say hi!

Please consider helping the Power Pack drive the parish is currently working on. Particular needs at this point are for mac and cheese cups, Chef Boyardi single servings, Hormel "Compleats for Kids" and Capri sun drinks. For more specific information please visit:

We invite Middle School parents to join us on Wednesday, March 20 for the Middle School Honor Roll assembly in the church after our regular Mass.

Finally, please remember to support our International Day project to donate a tree to the Town of Vienna by bringing in a minimum of a $1 donation for our "Greens and Jeans" out of uniform day tomorrow. Children may wear khakis or sweatpants with their green top if they wish.

Have a wonderful weekend. Hopefully the warmer weather will continue. I am looking forward to seeing everyone next week at the annual auction gala!
