Wildcat Weekly 12/6/18

Father Matt reminded us at Mass on Wednesday that during this time of Advent we should "be ready" to do the things we are asked to do. With that in mind I ask that you help your child be ready for the outdoor play times that might occur during some very cold conditions. We follow the Diocesan guidelines to take into account the wind and temperatures and always try to err on the side of caution but the children do much better if they can get outside and run around for a bit. Please send them dressed properly for school in the morning with their complete uniform including the fleece or sweater, a coat, and hat, gloves, and tights if necessary. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Please join me in welcoming the newest addition to the OLGC staff. Mrs. Therese Lipovsky has joined us as our receptionist at the front desk. Please give her a friendly smile when you see her. As you know Mrs. Sharon Hallahan is now the secretary in the main office so feel free to say hello to her too!

Thanks to your generosity during We Care Week we will be sending over $650 to Catholic Charities to help those in need. I am so proud of the generosity of our families and look forward to seeing the amazing support we continue to give to the Giving Tree and the Adopt-a-Family projects that are ongoing in December.

Finally, parents of middle school students please join us for the Middle School Honor Roll assembly that we will have next Wednesday December 12th following Mass in the church.

Have a wonderful weekend and I truly hope you and the family are enjoying this wonderful Advent season together!

Adrianne Jewett, Principal
