Well the winter weather has surely made our planning challenging this week! Scantron testing continues and we will continue our efforts to balance the lessons for our students each day, including the other assessments that they have missed. We appreciate your help encouraging our students to enjoy their extra sleep on 2 hour delays but come in refreshed and ready to learn when they get here. We are also very excited about Catholic Schools Week coming up shortly. Please note that the last day of school will be dependent upon the number of snow days we end up having throughout the winter months. Currently, we have 3 snow days built in to our current schedule with the last day of school as June 12th if we use all three days. We will keep you updated as the winter continues but in the meantime please stay warm and safe with your travels!
Thank you for your help in making carpool a safer place. Only if you are parking when volunteering for a classroom event or if you are joining the rosary group on Fridays please park down in front of St. Joseph Center. We ask for your continued respect and support of our procedures.
If you have not re-registered your student(s) for the upcoming school year, we would appreciate it if you could register as soon as possible. Believe it or not we begin planning for the upcoming school year soon and want to ensure that we have the best possible programs available and ready for all grades, preschool through 8th grade. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me so that we can find some time to discuss your situation.
As always, thank you for your faith and support of our OLGC community!

Congratulations! For the past few years, our 7th and 8th grade students have participated in the Youth Apostle Pro-Life Poster Contest. This year marked the 20th year for this contest. The theme for the contest was "Pro-life is a Way of Life." There were 531 entries and I am thrilled to inform you Keira G. (7th Grade) received 2nd place in the junior division, Isabella S. (7th grade) received 3rd place in the junior division and Mary C. (7th grade) received an Honorable Mention also in the junior division. This contest is a wonderful opportunity for the students to express their pro-life beliefs and values using their artistic gifts and talents. Congratulations to Kiera, Isabella and Mary and all the students who participated in the contest! We are very proud of you and all your accomplishments!
