Wildcat Weekly 4/11/19

As we are about to begin Holy Week I want to invite you to join us for our 2pm performances of the Passion Play on Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Our 7th graders have been working hard in preparation and it is an incredibly moving experience. You are also welcome to join us for our final school Mass before Easter on Wednesday morning at 8:30 in the Church. As always, all are welcome!

Congratulations to the following seventh graders who will represent OLGC at the Diocesan Science Fair on Saturday at Pope Paul VI High School: Mary C., Tahlia C., Shaun F., Ben F., Keira G., Jacqueline L., Megan L., Gavin O., Josh P., and Matthew R. Thank you Mrs. Luketic for all of your hard work and help to them throughout the process. Thank you also to our PTO members and the volunteers who are helping to host the Diocesan Science Fair judges' breakfast that day. We are very proud of everyone's hard work and wish the 7th graders well!

Please mark your calendars for the final day of school which is Wednesday June 12th. Our Preschool students will be dismissed at 11:15 and no extended day. K-Gr 7 students will be dismissed at 11:30 and no ECAP. Mass that day will include the Kindergarten Completion ceremony and will be held at 10am in Church. The Middle School Awards Assembly for our 6th and 7th graders will be held at 9:30 in the Chapel that morning, and then they will join for Mass. All are welcome to join us!

The final Fish Fry of the season is tomorrow night. Please make sure to follow our procedure for changes in dismissal plans and ensure that your child and their teacher is notified properly. We cannot be held liable for students who stay after dismissal to attend the Fish Fry that evening as we do not have sufficient staff to supervise them during that time. We appreciate your help in supervising your children before and during this event.

Reminder that teachers will be sending out interim reports as needed next week.

Tomorrow is an Out of Uniform Day thanks to the Wilkins family. Students may wear jeans, khakis or shorts with their favorite place t-shirt.

Please note that there will not be a Wildcat Weekly sent next week. I wish you and your family a Blessed Easter and a relaxing spring break! We look forward to having everyone recharged and ready to finish the school year strong when we return.

Adrianne Jewett, Principal

Rice Bowls will be collected next week - Monday, April 15th and Tuesday, April 16th. Thank you in advance for your participation in this event.
