Wildcat Weekly 3/21/19

As we enter spring, and look forward to warmer weather, I want to remind you of the many activities taking place for our students. The 8th graders are celebrating the return of baseball season with their hot dog lunch on Tuesday. For an optional dollar students are allowed to participate in an out of uniform day wearing baseball shirts, jerseys or sweatshirts, with comfortable pants. Please no hats are allowed. On Thursday March 28th students are encouraged to participate in a Pajama Day courtesy of the generosity of Ethan K. and family. Students may wear their favorite pajamas or comfortable lounge clothes for the day. Students may not wear slippers. Also, please remember for both events that we are still in winter uniform and thus no shorts may be worn.

I am pleased to announce that Mrs. Robin Williams has accepted a new position for next year as our Assistant Principal! Please join me in congratulating her. Unfortunately Sra. Quinn has decided to move out of the area so we will be losing her as our Middle School Spanish teacher. We wish her the very best of luck and are happy she is able to return home to cheer on her beloved Cardinals. Sra. Williamson will be teaching our Middle School Spanish students next year, and we are currently searching for a K - 5 Spanish teacher. I will continue to update you as plans form for next year.

Congratulations to all of our Middle School students who received first and second honors for the second trimester. Well done!

Have a wonderful weekend. I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the auction on Saturday night!

Adrianne Jewett, Principal
