PTO Chatter 8/29/19

Dear OLGC Families,

In our household, preparing for any great adventure starts with first making a list. And so it began...

1. Sparkling white polos, crisp navy shorts, new all black shoes (2 sizes larger)...check.

2. Backpacks with water stained summer reading, math packets awaiting teacher review, extra pencils and cool erasers because, well, they are cool (duh)...check.

3. New lunch boxes brimming with goodies to fill their bellies and power them through the day...check.

4. Butterflies in our stomach and feeling too excited to get to sleep early Sunday night...check.

5. Monday morning frenzied first steps onto campus filled will loud cheers and bright smiles upon seeing friends near and far...check.

6. Dear teachers and staff matching our enthusiasm with their own and beckoning us to the start of a wonderful new school year...check.

7. A community of parents, students, teachers, staff, and parishioners standing along-side one another, soaking in the feeling of a brand-new start and marveling in our many blessings...check, double check.

On behalf of the OLGC PTO, wishing you a warm welcome back to school and looking forward to an exciting year ahead!

Alona Fayer, OLGC PTO President
