PTO Chatter 4/4/19

Dear Families,

Welcome to April! May we all enjoy the warming weather, the blooming flowers and trees, and spring sports that are now in full swing.

Spring also brings us PTO Board elections. Along with our next PTO Vice President, we will also need to fill the role of PTO Corresponding Secretary. As with all other board members, the Corresponding Secretary attends all PTO Board and general meetings and supports PTO activities whenever possible. In addition, the Corresponding Secretary, Amy Lopes, assembles the weekly PTO Chatter at the beginning of every week, a task which involves a few hours a week. After a year in this role, the Corresponding Secretary takes on the role of Recording Secretary. The Recording Secretary, currently Moira Hayward, is responsible to taking, disseminating, and retaining notes for all PTO Board meetings. This job requires a few hours monthly. If you enjoy knowing what's going on at OLGC and telling others about it, please considering taking on these roles. Amy, Moira, or I would be happy to answer your questions.

Peace,

Beth

This project will run from April 3 to April 12 on Wednesdays and Fridays. Cost is $2 for a big pretzel.
