PTO Chatter 3/14/19

Dear OLGC Families,

Tomorrow marks the end of our inaugural Wildcat Fund campaign. On behalf of the Steering Committee, thank you to everyone who participated in this first year of our school annual fund. Few Catholic preschool, elementary, and middle schools have annual funds, and as we prepared to launch the campaign in December, we did not know what the response would be. As I write this on the eve of our Day of Giving, we are less than $20,000 from our goal. The response to the call to build a fund to support the recruitment, development, and retention of teachers; to fund need-based scholarships; and to meet the evolving needs of our classrooms and campus has been heartening. It has come from you, our current School families, from alumni and grandparents and parishioners. And it promises continued growth and success in the years to come as we build an even firmer foundation for our School in on our second 60 years. So thank you, and if you still wish to donate to the 2018-2019 fund, donations can be made through June 30, 2019.

I hope to see our preschool parents at Friday morning's Preschool-PTO coffee at 8:15 in DeSales Hall. And I hope to see everyone at Friday night's Fish Fry. Come enjoy food and fellowship and celebrate the success of the Wildcat Fund.

Peace,

Beth
