Please consider today whether you might be able to assist us in this ministry. Please contact Amy Winkler 703.896.7414 if you have questions, would like to explore this opportunity more in depth, or would like to sign up! Thank you for your consideration!

New Jesus, Church, and Me: Finding True North - MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR LIVE JESUS! 2019 Join us on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM for the 16th Annual Live Jesus! event, a Lenten morning of spiritual reflection at St. John Neumann. The theme this year is Jesus, Church, and Me: Finding True North. Discover your True North, using the practical approach and guidance of Salesian Spirituality, through the teachings of St Francis DeSales from two different perspectives. First, the Rev. Alexander Pocetto, OSFS, a gifted teacher of Salesian Spirituality and senior member of the Oblates, provides the wisdom of knowledge and experience. Second, Joseph McDaniel, OSFS, a gifted Oblate Seminarian, brings the enthusiasm and optimism of youth to the Salesian perspective. Indeed, this is a unique opportunity for practical solutions to use Salesian Spirituality in our daily lives. Prior to the program, please join us for a continental breakfast beginning at 8:00 AM.
New Intelligent Lives - Film Screening – 2/20 at 7pm Film Screening of "Intelligent Lives" - Bishop O'Connell High School is happy to host a FREE viewing of Dan Habib's new film, INTELLIGENT LIVES on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. This film is a catalyst to transform the label of intellectual disability from a life sentence of isolation into a life of possibility for the most systematically segregated people in America. INTELLIGENT LIVES challenges what it means to be intelligent, and points to a future in which people of all abilities can fully participate in higher education, meaningful employment, and intimate relationships. The 70-minute film will be shown in the Bishop O'Connell auditorium, located at 6600 Little Falls Road in Arlington, and will be followed by a panel discussion. The event is open to the public. For questions, please contact Susan Rinaldi, Director of Expanded Services at Bishop O'Connell High School
