Room 16: Mrs. Williams
"You learn to speak by speaking, to study by studying, to run by running, to work by working; and just so you learn to love God and man by loving. Begin as a mere apprentice and the very power of love will lead you on to become a master of the art." - St. Francis deSales
Middle School RELIGION has been full of learning, sharing, understanding, and growing in our relationship with JESUS! 6th grade studies Abraham, Moses and the Exodus, King David, the Judges and the Prophets. All of this is came to life for them through their creation of board games which demonstrate their knowledge and reinforce concepts.
7th grade focused on the New Testament. The production of the Passion Play by our 7th grade brought to life what they have studied all year and allowed them to give witness to their faith.
Confirmation opened the door into the Catholic faith for the 8th grade giving them some insight into what it means to be a full member of the Church and how they can contribute to their parish community. The 8th grade also attended the Diocesan Vocations Mass where Bishop Burbidge challenged them to think about their vocation and God’s plan for them. We continue to attend First Friday Adoration by class each month.
