Professional Background

I'm entering my 12th year in the diocese, 11 years in fourth grade, and a year in fifth grade after six years teaching PE in a private school.

Faith in Action

I feel blessed to work in a Catholic school and be able to talk about faith daily. It's fulfilling to bring Jesus into everyday situations for the students.

Favorite Teaching Moment

My favorite teaching moments happen when the students have "ah-ha" moments. Whether that moment comes academically or socially/emotionally, it is still a thrill.

Favorite Food

Seafood, especially swordfish and mahi mahi

Favorite Activity Outside of School

Playing with my big dog, Teddy. Watching my students play basketball (I love sports!), any opportunity to be outside and a good workout. I also enjoy reading during quiet times.

Fun Fact About Me

I'm a local, born and raised in NOVA. My dog, Teddy, is a certified therapy dog. We visit patients in hospice care.
