Professional Background

Since moving to Northern Virginia in 2008 I’ve worked at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School (Alexandria) and a Vienna-based Christian preschool. Previous to my work in academia (and before having children) I held positions at a legislative advocacy group as well as a philanthropic consulting firm. Currently, (in my free time: evenings and weekends) I still work on project management for science organizations.

Faith in Action

I enjoy putting Catholic values (patience, compassion, integrity, etc.) into practice while interacting with the students. I appreciate and love being able to share and demonstrate our faith daily at school.

Favorite Teaching Moment

It’s exciting to see students’ growth and development throughout the year. Nothing is better than witnessing faith, confidence, resiliency, and self-love thrive.

Currently: salt & vinegar almonds

Refinishing wooden furniture.
