Shortly after graduating my undergraduate degree, I took a job in a letterpress studio, following my Graphic Design background. After a year, I realized I was being called to the different vocation of teaching. I was hired by then principal Mrs. Jewett, who was my middle school Science teacher, as I am graduate of OLGC myself. I started with working the aftercare program for the brand new Pre-K in 2018. I then graduated to 1st grade working as an instructional assistant. I continued with the students into 2nd Grade and there I stopped. I had found my favorite grade! As of 2024, I have just begun my 3rd year as a lead teacher in 2nd Grade at Our Lady of Good Counsel.

Thanks to various unbelieving family members, my faith has had to grow over the course of my life. My favorite class is by far Religion, not just because I get to prep students for two of the greatest sacraments - Holy Reconciliation and Most Holy Eucharist, but also just for all the well thought out questions the students ask. In the fall of 2024, I was asked to lead the Liturgy Committee for the school, working with the Principal and various teachers to prepare for our school Retreat, and consider other aspects of liturgy that we would like to grow in as a school community.
