I have had the privilege of being a RN in Women's & Children's (obstetrics, pediatrics, NICU, postpartum) since 2000. I have had the amazing job of seeing God's miracles at work daily in my career across this great country as I worked as a travel nurse or as we have moved for my husband's job. In Kansas City, Missouri I was an assisted and interim nurse manager. I was also Secretary/Treasurer for AWHONN Missouri Section and a 2013 Emerging Leader for AWHONN which is a national nursing organization for Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses. In addition to hospital nursing, I have been a camp nurse with Winshape Camp for 4 years now and a substitute school nurse for the last two years.

God has given me the gift of compassion - and I use that gift to make people feel better. He blessed me to be able to care for those who need me the most - in the weakest time and in their happiest times. By giving compassion, I show each child how to give compassion to the next person they encounter.
Favorite Teaching Moment
I do not teach in the classroom here, but I have taught other classes for patients and families. My favorite class to teach is probably Sibling Preparation as we get older siblings ready for the new baby.

Reading and watching Hallmark Channel
