I have worked in outpatient pediatric care since 1993. Previous employers include private practice, George Washington Medical Faculty Association, Baltimore City Schools and Children's National Medical Center. As a nurse practitioner I managed well child visits and common acute care visits. I was also a licensed lactation consultant and performed nursery rounds at GWUH. My other areas of special interest include asthma management .
Faith in Action
Caring for pediatric patients is rewarding as well as a humbling experience. We are given special talents from God to improve the lives of others and our community. The faith of the students and staff at OLGC are witnessed everyday through their interaction and care for each other.
Favorite Teaching Moment
Observing a child overcome an illness or injury with grace and gratitude for the good health we can take for granted.

Spending time swimming, kayaking, cooking, grilling and star gazing with my family.
Fun Fact About Me
Participated in trials for 1996 Olympic Rowing Team. While I did not make the team I cheered many of my friends on in Atlanta as they competed.
