Professional Background

I have 10 years teaching experience for FCPS as a substitute teacher. I have taught in the Diocese of Arlington for 8 years. This is my 5th year as a Kindergarten teacher at OLGC. I taught Pre-K for one year at OLGC. I was a Pre-K assistant teacher for two years at St. Andrew the Apostle in Clifton, VA.

Faith in Action

I believe that the best example I can show my students is by truly living my faith when teaching. I strive to be the best person I can be everyday and want that to reflect on my students. I think about what I am doing for God and does it reflect in my teaching.

Favorite Teaching Moment

I struggled with Math when I was in Elementary school. My favorite subject to teach is Math and to inspire my students to have the same love of it.

Favorite Activity Outside of School

I enjoy running and watching NCAA basketball. My favorite team is the University of Kentucky.

Fun Fact About Me

My family was stationed in Hawaii for three years. My most favorite place on Earth is Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island. My family was able to see an active volcano and walk across a crater.
