Faith in Action
It's important to be ready to serve all the time. You never know when you can help someone. Last year, while teaching 2nd Grade, I actively became involved in two non-Catholic students' requests to become Catholic. With the aid of the parish office, I guided the children through daily lessons of the Bible and teachings of the Sacraments. At the end of the year, I sponsored them and stood in as their Catholic Godparent while they received their three Sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.
Favorite Teaching Moment
My favorite teaching moments are when the students are so excited and into the lesson, that when it's time to change subjects, they moan and groan saying, " Can we keep going? We don't want to stop!!" That is the absolute best compliment ever!
Favorite Activity Outside of School
Hiking, running spending time w/ family
Fun Fact About Me
I lived and worked in London, England. I was chased by an ostrich while hiking in Brisbane, Australia.
