Professional Background:

My professional journey began as a registered nurse, where I loved caring for patients. After becoming a mother and having the military uproot us several times in a short span of time, I stepped away from nursing to focus on raising our 4 children. In recent years, I’ve felt called to work with young children in a more formal setting and have practiced that through several avenues. I spent a year at a preschool in Yorktown, VA as a substitute teacher and care provider. I also taught CCF last year here at OLGC.

Faith in Action:

I believe that children are gifts from God, and it is both a privilege and a responsibility to help nurture their minds, hearts and souls.

I am a military spouse and have moved 13 times in the last 22 years.
