B.S. in Child Development/Family Science from Montana State University and M.Ed. in Special Education from George Mason University

Professional Background

I started my teaching career in 2000 as a Special Education teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools. In 2006, I stayed home to raise my three sons. In 2015, I worked as a Preschool Teacher for five years. In 2020, I reapplied as a Special Education teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools and learned how to teach on-line during the pandemic. In 2022, I worked as a Resource Teacher for Our Lady of Hope Catholic School for two years.

Faith in Action

It's truly a blessing seeing the children learn about their Catholic faith and receiving First Communion and Confirmation.

I enjoy seeing students learn new concepts and getting excited sharing what they learned with others!

I enjoy spending time hiking, gardening, and taking road trips with my family in rural parts of Virginia.
