  • Honorable Mention Awards to OLGC students

    Congratulations to Chloe M. (gr 8) & Abby S. (gr 7) for receiving Honorable Mention Awards for the 21st Annual Youth Apostles “Be Pro-Life Because …” Essay Contest. There were 253 entries from 10 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Arlington as well as a school in Pennsylvania. Congratulations girls! We are very proud of your accomplishments!

  • OLGC Class of 2013 & 2014 raise funds for Nativity Prep

    Great things happen when students & families care. Fr. Brian Zumbrum (aka Deacon Brian) spent a short 6 months at OLGC, but his impact on OLGC students was much greater. The Class of 2013 & 2014 missed him and wanted to help his new school Nativity Prep.

    OLGC Students from 6th and 7th Grade, accompanied by Mrs. Briody traveled to Washington DC to join in on the STEM Symposium where they heard some incredible speakers discuss Science, Technology, Innovation, and hopes and plans for the future, as well as the need for young creative minds to enter the Engineering Fields.

  • Diocesan Science Fair

    Congratulations to the 7th graders who represented our school at the Diocesan Science Fair this weekend. Special congratulations and acknowledgement goes to Abby S. who took first place in Behavioral and Social Science for her project entitled “How does music genre affect a person’s heart rate?”

  • Fundraising for Mont Ventoux School

    As in past years, OLGC School has supported schools with a certain need. This year we will be helping the Mont Ventoux School in Grasse, France which is run by the Oblate Sisters. They are in need of new playground equipment. Several fundraising opportunities are occurring to help out. Thanks in advance for helping with this cause.
